Colin Thompson and Emma-Marie Kabanova present The Caprice of Fancy - a programme
inspired by the life and times of the virtuoso violinist and guitarist Niccolò Paganini. The recital
features a selection of duos and solo works by Paganini, alongside music by his distinguished
contemporaries, including Filippo Gragnani, Fernando Sor, Christian Gottlieb Scheidler and
Ludwig van Beethoven.
